Additional Linux Audio Formats

SlimServer supports many formats out-of-the-box. Some, however, require additional converters and configuration before they can be used on Linux. This page provides information on how support for some of those can be added once SlimServer has been installed.

• WMA - Windows Media format
• AAC - Apple QuickTime format, as used on Windows and the iPod

Additionally, other formats (such as some streamed InternetRadio), can be supported by installing additional plugins.
